Hello friends, Long time no talk. I hope you are all well in the time of COVID-19. I certainly have had my ups and downs, but things have evened out recently. This forced stillness has been good for me, even if it left me without a job for a short while. While unemployed, I hustled my butt off and started my own consulting firm called Coco Canary Consulting and have had the… Read More
Hello friends, It has been a while since I last wrote and a lot has happened since my encounter with an outlaw on the St. Croix River last summer. Since then, my friends and I did our annual cabin trip to Wisconsin, my brother and I harvested morel mushrooms, my boyfriend and I went camping up on the North Shore, and many more fun things. Most importantly though, I completed my first… Read More

Hello Friends, It’s been awhile since my last post. It’s been a busy time for me with working, enjoying the beautiful fall weather, and also spending a majority of my free time applying for grad school. Yes, I am planning on going back to school. I’ll delve more into that subject in a later post. For now, I must catch up with my Euro-Trip! The last thing I wrote about was my… Read More

Hello friends, Today’s post will be a little bit different from my other posts. Instead of sharing about an outdoor adventure, I will share with you a piece of writing I wrote for a writer’s night. Since last August, I have been attending Poken Sword, a monthly literary salon hosted by 2001: A Space in Northeast Minneapolis. At these events, there is a theme for each month and each month local writers read… Read More
Hello friends, As I type, I am actually in Chicago: The Windy City! My sister Colleen had to go to the Chicago China Consulate to get her Chinese work-visa and I thought I might as well tag along. While Colleen gets her visa figured out, I’ll be exploring the city’s vibrant coffeehouses and freelance writing/photo editing for RootsRated. (It’s awesome being a freelancer; I can work from anywhere!). But, I’ll have to… Read More

Hello, I’m Molly and I live in St. Paul, Minnesota (the unceded lands of the Dakota People).
In 2013, I spent 7 months backpacking through China, Japan, Mongolia, Russia, and Europe. At first, I made Molly’s Journey to the West to document my trip across the world. Now that I’m done with that adventure, I continue to update my blog with my travels in Minnesota and in other parts of the world.
It is important to note that I don’t write here as often. If you’re interested to learn more about what I’m up to, check out my monthly newsletter at Coco Canary Consulting.
